Look inside
Fifty years ago, two children disappeared. Now their story can finally be told. When construction workers uncover two children’s skeletons beneath the roots of an old cottonwood in the Skagit Valley, Detective Sergeant Maggie Sullivan is called to investigate. The children have been buried for nearly fifty years. There are no records of their deaths, no graves, and no one who seems to have been looking for them. With the help of forensic anthropology student Sarah Ingram and environmental investigator Elena Navarro, Maggie begins to piece together the boys’ forgotten past.
